Sachie Tamayo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in State of Florida (MH19792) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). Her body of work includes treatment for individuals from toddlers to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental disabilities, Down Syndrome, Attention Deficits Hyperactivities Disorders(ADHD/ADD) and behavioral issues in intensive clinic-based ABA therapy and in-home ABA therapy for over 10 years. She has been successfully providing individual, couple, children and families counseling in-person or using telehealth over 5 years.

She also has worked and dedicated her time with adults with mental health concerns and intellectual disabilities in a vocational habilitation facility to support and promote their independence in community.

She has intensive trainings and experiences in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessment(FBA), writing individualized behavior intervention plan and programs, implementing the programs, providing supervision to behavior assistants and RBTs, providing parent training and also has experiences in billing and claim management in ABA setting. She has been an advocate to provide IEP/504 plan in school settings to help families.

She holds a Master's degree in science with a major in counseling concentration with Applied Behavior Analysis and Mental Health Counseling. She is also Certified Autism Specialist(CAS), International Behavior Analyst(IBA), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

In her private life, Sachie is a native Japanese who came to the United States for her passion for Dolphin Assisted Therapy for Autism. Although the path has changed a little she loves to go back to it one day. She is a wife and mom of 3 children, 2 miniature dachshunds and 2 cats. She enjoys coffees and sushi, Netflix on her couch, oceans and traveling.

Sachie Tamayo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving Palm Beach County and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in the State of Florida. Her body of work includes treatment for individuals from toddlers to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental disabilities, and behavioral issues in intensive clinic-based therapy and in-home therapy for over 8 years.

She also has worked with adults with mental and intellectual disabilities as Mental Health Counseling Intern using behavioral techniques (e.g. CBT). She has experiences in conducting behavioral assessment, writing individualized behavior intervention plan and programs, implementing the programs, providing supervision to behavior assistant and RBTs, providing parent training and also has experiences in billing and claim management in ABA setting. She holds a Master's degree in science with a major in counseling concentration with Applied Behavior Analysis and Mental Health Counseling. She has passed Board National Counseling Exam(NCE) and is on the track to accumulate her experience hours in order to become a Board Certified National Counselor. She also passed Mental Health Counselor License Exam to become Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and is working on accumulating her experience hours. She has been successfully providing individual, couple, children and families counseling in-person or using telehealth.

She is also Certified Autism Specialist(CAS), International Behavior Analyst(IBA), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
