    Kokoro Care Network offers text message communication to parents and legal guardians who have opted in.

    How you opt in. You may opt in by checking the text messaging consent box on our website form, by signing the consent section of our intake paperwork, or by giving verbal consent to a staff member during a phone call. Text message consent is never a condition of receiving services from us.

    What we collect. When you opt in, we record your mobile number, the date and time of your consent, the method by which consent was given, and the content of messages exchanged between you and our staff.

    How we use it. We use your mobile number solely to send the categories of messages described in our SMS Terms and to respond to messages you send us.

    Mobile Information Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our messaging platform provider, is permitted solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell mobile opt-in data or consent.

    Opting out. You may reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing further. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP at any time for assistance.

    Security of text messages. Standard text messaging is not an encrypted or secure channel. Messages may be visible to anyone with access to your device and could potentially be intercepted in transit. We limit text message content to scheduling and administrative topics and do not send clinical details, diagnoses, assessment results, or treatment information by text.
