Program Description
Kokoro Care Network sends text messages to parents and legal guardians of our clients, and to prospective clients who have contacted us. Messages include appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling and session changes, intake and paperwork follow-up, practice announcements such as office closures, promotional messages about our services, programs, and availability, and periodic requests for feedback or a review of your experience with our practice.
How to Opt In
You may opt in by:
- Checking the text messaging consent box on our website contact form
- Signing the consent section of our intake paperwork
- Giving verbal consent to a staff member during a phone call
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is not a condition of receiving services from Kokoro Care Network.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your family’s schedule and your communication with our staff.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Kokoro Care Network does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. To resume messages, reply START.

Supported Carriers
Message delivery is supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Health Information Notice
Standard text messaging is not a secure or encrypted channel. By opting in, you acknowledge that messages may be viewed by anyone with access to your device and could be intercepted in transit. We limit message content to scheduling and administrative topics and do not send clinical details, diagnoses, assessment results, or treatment information by text. Please do not send sensitive clinical information to us by text. To discuss clinical matters, call our office.
